Hello,
My name is…..unimportant. We will get to that in a little bit, but first let me discuss something more important. The purpose of this blog is to introduce you to how I see the world; the patterns, the connections, the little ironies, and the beautiful tragedy that is life. I am unlike anyone you will ever meet, this I can promise, I see life a little differently. The point of sharing an insight into the carnival of my mind is to truly communicate with those who have no voice.
There are so many people in this world and we all have something to say, but precious few have the ability to properly express it. People are beautiful creatures. We are all a book that is in the process of being written. There are so many stories and experiences, there are essentially more movies being played out right now than if you combined all of the ones created in the history of humankind, and I am a watcher. I am empathic, I absorb the emotions of the people around me as if it were sustenance. I interact, I engage, I observe and I remember. I spin this knowledge around in my mind like a raccoon with a shiny object, a million times over until it makes sense on a fundamental level. I now wish to regurgitate this all in a puddle before you and invite you to examine it. I wish to use this blog as my Indiana Jones to chase out the boulders of wisdom locked inside the crazy ruins in my mind. I cannot promise there will not be any danger, but at the very least it should prove entertaining.
We all experience this reality differently and the jewel of this existence is the unique perception that we all have of it. I will eviscerate myself before you and ask you to sift through the remains. I invite you to judge me and encourage you to participate in the process. I am new to this, so I cannot promise that I will adhere to any sort of structure that you will recognize, but that’s part of my gift to you. So now that we have started, if you have got to call me something than you may call me Michael Mayhew.
