So many people hated Iron Man 3, mostly b/c of the Mandarin twist, but frankly I loved the movie and was disappointed in that as well. I can say that though I can respect it as a story arc. A villain who isn’t what he appears? Classic. So what Mandarain turned out to be an actor paid for a part… isn’t that t what Tony Stark was? An actor playing Iron Man? Think about that for a minute. Sure I wanna see the Mandarin with the 10 rings and Fing Fang Foom, but that will have to wait for animated tale probably – though who knows maybe this movie was a setup for Ben Kingsly’s Mandarin later? You never know – though with Disney as Marvel’s parent company….. I won’t hold my breathe for Fing Fang Foom. lol Pepper wearing the suit was fun. Her saving the day in the end to be only saved by Tony was comic book romance to a T. Also the nod to Harlen Ellison was epic. My big complaint in a lot of comic book movies is the killing of the villains I always hate that… hard to bring back characters if they are dead! I know some says well in the comic books they do it! Well yes, but these movies are grounded in reality somewhat more… why Dark Knight Rises worked with the Joker – of course that’s another story!
