As I heard today of Leonard Nimoy’s passing it reminded of me the influence he’s had on me as a person. While some will remember him as Mr. Spock, others as the host of In Search Of… which I recall sitting for hours watching on A&E learning as well as being inspired about what’s really out there in this mysterious world of ours. His Hollywood career was all over in some ways from scifi, action, drama, music, and voiceovers to host of shows . At the end of the day he also fought for equality in the LGBT community fiercely using his star power and direct honesty to join the fight. I for one will remember him not just as Mr. Spock or as that host of ‘In Search of…’, but as a man who fought for what he believed in. As one of his most famous characters would say: “it’s only logical…” R.I.P.
