A recently slain cop joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department or R.I.P.D. and tries to find the man who murdered him.
Yet another Comic Book turned into a movie… While I enjoyed the performances of Jeff Bridges as an old west cowboy, Ryan Reynolds as the ‘new age’ cop, I really loved the way Mary-Louise Parker delivered her lines. While the buddy comedy meets ghostbusters/men in black was good… I think this would have been far better suited for a TV Show then feature movie, as they could have explored the characters and universe they share more slowly and let the story take you for a ride. So here’s hoping someone see’s the potential in a TV Show… God knows networks are out of new ideas as it is anyway…… 😉
