While dropping off some flyers for a local Paranormal Expo which you can learn more about by clicking here, at local Farmers Market I stopped in the comic book store to look around. It brought back a lot of memories for me as a kid looking through back issues and at the newer comics out today. I don’t know about you but waiting for a new comic every month as a kid was awesome! What’s next? How will the hero win? It’s funny I think a lot of kids now a days are so desensitized to beauty of art in print media. It’s not flashy enough for them – doesn’t make enough noise. I still have a ton of comic books (some of which i need to part with lol) and I will showcase them here at some point… list keeps growing haha. Though I think once a few bills are caught up and some people paid back, I’ll have to go pick up some issues to complete a few of my titles… But for now i’m happy to share what I have… lol 🙂 And if anyone asks no I didn’t buy anything… though I liked what I saw, but nothing screamed buy me – the few back issues I looked for they didn’t have. Oh well.. the journey continues. 😉 So what’s your favorite comic book store memory??
