Never conscious of my place in life
So focused simply on surviving each night

Try to exist on basics, fundamentally
A seed in barren soil…just hoping to latch on

No grand delusions on my individuality, sprouting like an oak tree

The beauty and hope, the love in each being
Blend in like a chorus, the Divine harmonic vibrations as they sing
The gorgeous inception of energy that is present in each and every one of you
Projected onto the canvas of reality, with every thing that you do
The beautiful mosaic, your intertwined creation
The glory of life that is present in each simple connection
Given freely…an exchange of desire
A social creation that should be bringing us higher
Nearer to the potential that is present in the human race
Ignorant of difference; No color, creed, or hate…such grace
The opening of the chrysillis hidden deep within the mind
Insight of that third eye to which so much of our world is blind
Cast Down the barriers erected to keep us out
Express your voice…scream,sing, laugh and shout
Share who you are and embrace everything around
Find simple happiness that comes in the joy of being found
So many souls wander in the dark
Waiting and hoping for the glimpse of a spark
Cherish the light that we create
Nourish the soul, the true hunger that we rarely satiate
You are a perfect being, reflecting a godly visage
A being created to seek knowledge and pass on tutleage
It is through interactions that we found our harmony
This is the rewarding wealth that we should consume so greedily
Yet we confine ourselves to a compartal mentality
We reject our boundary crossing nature that creates our duality
Without balance, we will continue to falter and fall
Seeking solace behind yet another wall
Held down by self made shackles
Dwelling our pity like a maiden in the castle
Take a deep breath and search for your inner peace
Our psyche is a fragile puzzle, we all search for that missing piece
Every single thing we need…we already possess
To live this life in truth with no fear of death’s caress
We yearn to leave a legacy, a light that never fades
